Girl Who Leapt Through Time

ha ha, today when i stepped over the ITC Permata Hijau to bought some milk and got my watch fixed. I dropped in awhile to a DVD store, there was an anime that caught my attention. It was titled “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time”

This movie is the sequel of a novel titled ‘’The Little Girl Who Conquered Time”, directed by Mamoru Hosoda (Director of Digimon) and worked up fantasticly by MadHouse Studio. FYI, Madhouse known as a studio which produce great graphics of its animes and maybe the best anime studio nowadays.

The story mainly about Makoto Konno, a careless, boyish girl who suddenly can leapt through time. She had two close boyfriends, they are Kosuke and Chiaki. Kosuke is a smartass and “nice guy” type, in the other hand Chiaki is the opposite of Kosuke. They always play baseball after school, keep teasing each other. I saw it as an ideal friendship, i envy them though. I never had that kind of relationship.

the trouble begin when Makoto had her bicycle brake loose and supposed to be dead by the train crossing accident. Miraculously, she just came back to the time before that accident happened. Then she uses it over and over again until she realized that her action may affect her friends adversely.

The story is so deep, so i just almost cry.
Time waits for no one
time passed no matter what you’re doing.

Do you wanna go back to the past and redo everything? I wish i could, but it just impossible,,
